Destination Milton Keynes set out to showcase the city’s summer events, attractions and local businesses in a way that couldn’t be ignored. Playbound delivered a series of bold CGI-led social films designed to stop the scroll and drive traffic straight to the DMK website.

The challenge

Tourism content often blends into busy feeds. DMK needed to cut through. The campaign had to position Milton Keynes as vibrant, cultural and worth exploring, while driving measurable traffic to their website. It wasn’t enough to look good. It had to perform.

The Solution

Playbound created a series of CGI and FOOH-style videos that reimagined Milton Keynes’ landmarks in unexpected ways. By blending hyper-real 3D animation with real-world footage, we produced moments that made viewers stop and question what they were seeing. Each of the 10 films spotlighted a different attraction, unified through animated bookends and clear calls to action. Distributed through a targeted Meta ads strategy across paid and organic placements, the campaign was built to convert curiosity into clicks.
